OUR HISTORY Kahunaverse Sports was born through the fusion of two great Canadian companies in Home Run Sports and Big Kahuna Sport Co (Learn more about the partnership here). Both companies originally operated separately to service and support the Canadian sports marketplace. Established in 1986, Home Run Sports quickly became Canada's largest source for Baseball equipment and apparel. Recognized for their excellence in service and selection they established retail stores across Canada. Their passion for sports did not end there as they began servicing teams and institutions in all sports categories offering everything from retail to team sales. Big Kahuna Sport Co. was founded in 1997 in Surrey, BC and in a few years established themselves as Canada's leader in the team and institutional sporting goods, apparel and equipment. With a passion for service and with the best brands in the business they quickly grew to have reps located nationwide servicing partners from the CFL, U Sport, CCAA all the way to youth and community leagues.
