KTA was founded in 1989 as an engineering design and consulting firm with an emphasis on healthcare design. We soon expanded our client base with the design of telecommunications space, mission critical space, commercial interiors, government and schools. We have grown to be a nationally recognized leader in mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering design as well as third party code review. We are headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and strive to provide the highest level of responsiveness and quality engineering design services to our clients. Our registrations in 47 states and the District of Columbia are complemented by our national and local code experience. KTA is current with the latest developments in the industry to provide quality, healthy buildings, which are environmentally and fiscally responsible.
