What Is KIPP Miami Public Schools?
KIPP Miami is part of the KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) national non-profit network of college-preparatory public charter schools serving elementary, middle, and high school students. KIPP has a 20-year track record of preparing students for success in college and life. Open since August 2018, KIPP Miami operates free, public, open-enrollment charter schools in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood. Currently, KIPP Miami educates students in Kindergarten and first grades. KIPP Miami will open a middle school in August 2019 starting with 5th and 6th grades, eventually growing to educate students in grades 5-8.
