Founded in the 1950s, Jones Bros Civil Engineering is a family-run firm based in Ruthin, Denbighshire, North Wales. It is one of the UK's leading civil engineering companies with a wealth of expertise in developing highways, building infrastructure, constructing waste management facilities, providing remediation services, devising coastal and flood protection and managing complex logistics for renewable energy projects. The company has grown steadily over the past decade, and its turnover increased to £46m in 2009-10. Jones Bros employs 270 people and is working on more than 20 projects around the UK. Jones Bros opened a Scottish office in Linlithgow in January 2010, and followed this with the launch of a southern regional office in September 2010. The new southern team, based in Swansea, is focusing on the southern counties of England, as well as South Wales. Jones Bros runs its own dedicated training and testing centre, providing industry accredited training courses in construction and plant operating skills.
