John West has been operating since 1857 and now forms part of Thai Union Europe. John West has offices in the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Dubai. MW Brands was formed under the ownership of Heinz, who later sold MW Brands to a Private Equity organisation. In 2010, Thai Union acquired MW Brands and then in September 2015, Thai Union undertook a rebranding exercise with the intention of realigning its corporate identity and strengthening its ever-growing presence in the Seafood Industry. As part of this rebranding, MW Brands now forms part of Thai Union Europe. Our competitive advantage of great brands like Petit Navire, John West, Mareblu and Parmentier and of full vertical integration proves long term forward thinking. We have 5000 people in Thai Union Europe (in excess of 35,000 people worldwide in Thai Union), sales of over 500 million, 4 plants and 8 vessels globally and marketing operations across Europe. Our future depends on our ability to care for our people and the marine resources we depend on. At Thai Union our new vision is to be the world's most trusted seafood leader, caring for our resources to nurture generations to come. This change is because of our belief that integration and transparency in our industry are better for business and better for management of resources and make us more effective in our role as leading agent of change. We use this vision to create the highest quality products and achieve excellent customer and consumer service. Our values are driven by Values of Attitude (Passionate, Humble, Respectful) and Values of Action (Responsible, Collaborative, Innovative) which can be seen in everything we do from catching to canning or branding to selling. We take pride in our products and we take pride in our people. Fishing for the future is what we do, so join our journey, at Sea with the CREW!
