What Is Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options?

Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options, Inc. (JAFCO) is a nonprofit agency established in April 1992. Nothing is more tragic than a family torn apart. When a child is removed from his family, he leaves behind what he has known and takes with him his fears, anger, hurt and insecurities. We believe that we can provide one less obstacle in the healing process by providing a child with a familiar cultural and religious environment. We believe every child deserves a safe and loving home. JAFCO currently provides an entire continuum of programs and services for at-risk children and their families including the following: Family Preservation / Case Management Services Foster / Adoptive Parent Recruitment, MAPP Training and Licensing / Homestudy. Foster Care Placement, Supervision and Support. Adoption Placement and Post Adoption Support Services. “Forever Friends” (Mentoring) Program. MST (Multi Systemic Therapy) Emergency Shelter Group Homes The Weicholz Family Campus. Welcome to this beautiful 5.6 acre gated residential community centrally located in the heart of Broward County with easy access from both Dade and Palm Beach counties. After passing through the gatehouse, The David Posnack Jewish Children’s Village, at first glance, resembles a typical South Florida residential community complete with playgrounds, swimming pool, beautiful sculpture gardens and landscaping, a bicycle path and a basketball court.
