(JAI) is a distributor of household and computerized sewing machines; a subsidiary of Janome Sewing Machine Company, Tokyo, Japan, who are one of the world’s largest manufacturers of home sewing machines and leaders and innovators in the home sewing industry. JAI was founded in 1860 as the New Home Sewing Machine Company. In 1960, Janome Tokyo purchased New Home. In 1999, the name of the company was changed from New Home to Janome America, Inc. This was in response to the growing popularity of the Janome brand and to unify the company with one identity. Today, we offer the most advanced machine ever conceived—the amazing Memory Craft 15000.
