[ JOST-world.com ] JOST Announces 2008 Trade Fair Schedule JOST International will be displaying our fifth wheel, landing gear and king pin products lines at major industry events during 2008 to include the TMC Transportation Technology Exhibition February 4-6th in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, at the Mid America Truck Show on March 27-29th in Louisville and the Great America Truck show August 21-23rd in Dallas, Texas. At each event in addition we will be displaying advanced technologies to include cab actuated air release, our Locktronic sensor system that indicates a positive coupling of our fifth wheels, and Lubetronic a device that provides regular lubrication to the lock jaw and king pin. In addition we will be showing a million mile fifth wheel with original OEM parts that goes to prove the incredible durability of the JOST design. For fun we will be having contests for visitors to our booth, we will take your guess about the exact mileage that was accrued on this million mile plus fifth wheel and the winner will received tickets for an event at the Bristol Speedway during 2008. JOST International announces the creation of a quarterly award for sales excellence to honor the memory and legacy of Mr. John Sacksteder who succumbed to cancer after a brave fight on December 8, 2007. Mr. Sacksteder pioneered the JOST International landing gear product line in the North American market and his efforts were integral in the sales of over 1 million sets of JOST landing gear in North America. John remained active with JOST to the time of his passing training new JOST personnel to assure continuity for the company and the products he so proudly represented. Throughout his distinguished career John was very successful in part due to his tenacity in staying focused on sales opportunities not only until the receipt of the order, but beyond to assure the total satisfaction of the customer. This characteristic will define the criteria for the John Sacksteder award at JOST International. The John Sacksteder award winners will be chosen by Lee Brace president of JOST and Rich Carroll vp sales & marketing.
