Inspiring healthy lifestyles is a social enterprise and charitable trust helping people live happier, healthier lives.\r\n\r\nWe work with local government in Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Staffordshire providing local people with the very best in leisure and cultural facilities and services. The Trust creates opportunities for people to change their lives, investing in facilities and adding value for public benefit.\r\n\r\nInspiring healthy lifestyles is a partner for life, working for local authorities and inspiring people whatever their age or ability.\r\n\r\nWe deliver a wide range of leisure and cultural services from theatres to parks, and golf courses to leisure centres.\r\n\r\nWe’re governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives from each of the areas we work in and are led by our Executive Management Team.\r\n\r\nAs a charitable organisation we operate leisure and cultural services at a reduced rate to the taxpayer but because we’re a social enterprise any surplus generated as a result are invested back into improving facilities and services for the benefit of the society we work in - allowing us to add value.\r\n\r\nWe also have a trading arm called WLCE which exists for services that are deemed non-charitable. Income generated by this section of the business is gift-aided back to the charitable body and is, once again, invested in services.
