In 2008 IPD acquired the Adelaide based lighting company PJ White providing lamp replacement and lighting clients service across Australia at the same time developing LED technology in commercial and industrial light fittings offering a broad suite in external, internal, industrial and harsh environment LED Lighting. In 2014 IPD acquired the Tasmanian based rail and utility test maintenance company Hivotech which enables expanded reach into the test, measurement and certification markets for dc and medium & high voltage AC clients. IPD designs and manufactures a large range of products specifically suited to the local environment, ensuring conformity to Australian Standards, incorporating strict compliance to ISO 9001:2008 We are members of industry groups AIG, NESMA, The Lighting Council, Clean Energy Council and Standards Australia where we endeavour to ensure the quality and integrity of equipment available to the Australian consumer is compliance tested and certified. Pursuing acquisitions and new lines of business, IPD continues to build strength and diversity for the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Islands market, offering employees a strong and dynamic company with career oriented management.
