INVICTUS GAMES Australia 2018 Revenue and Competitors

Invictus Games Sydney 2018 presented by Jaguar Land Rover will be held in Sydney 20-27 October 2018, with more than 500 competitors taking part from 18 nations. Competitors will contest eleven adaptive sports with events being held across Greater Sydney, including Sydney Olympic Park and on and around Sydney Harbour. Founded by Prince Harry, the Invictus Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for our servicemen and women and the families and friends who play such a crucial supporting role. It is an international multi-sport event for wounded, ill and injured active duty and veteran defence personnel. This will be the Games in which the community embraces the those who serve, and have served, and the family and friends who support them. It will celebrate the healing power of sport and inspire the many who, on a daily basis, battle to turn adversity into opportunity.
