Together with its subsidiaries & affiliates, the Company is a nationwide acquirer & originator of non-conforming Alt-A mortgage loans.IMH operates 3 core businesses: long-term investment operations, mortgage operations & warehouse lending operations. The long-term investment operations invest primarily in adjustable & fixed-rate, Alt-A mortgages that are acquired and originated by the Company's mortgage operations and small-balance, multi-family mortgages originated by its subsidiary, IMPAC Multifamily Capital Corporation (IMCC).
