2009 proved to be a year of both challenge and opportunity. At Hyundai Construction Equipment we have met those challenges head on and taken the opportunities presented to address any unresolved matters of past years and streamline our operations. Amidst the economic crises of 2009, Hyundai Construction Equipment was able to gain retail market share through the hard work of our dealer personnel, the introduction of our new 9 Series Excavators, the implementation aggressive retail programs and the trust in our products and services shown by our end users. Considering the overall health of the economy we can not overlook or minimize the successes that we experienced. We think that we can continue to capitalize on the momentum gained in 2009 with the introduction of addition 9 Series Excavators, the introduction of our new line of 9 Series Wheel Loaders, an expansion of our product line that will include Compact Radius Excavators, Back-Hoe Loaders and redesigned Skid Steer Loader; as well as an projected increase in overall new equipment demand in both the private and municipal sectors.
