What Is Hunterdon County Vocational School District?

Welcome to Hunterdon County Vocational School District, a public school district serving students from middle school to adults in a variety of career programs that result in gainful employment and meeting economic and workforce needs. Schools: Hunterdon County Polytech, Computer Science & Software Engineering and Adult & Continuing Education. Hunterdon County Polytech is the county high school for career and technical education. Open to all Hunterdon County students, the school has 2 campuses in Flemington: 8 Bartles Corner Road and 10 Junction Road. Students attend their home high school for all academic requirements and are provided with transportation to Polytech for its programs. All courses are full year and 20 elective credits. Most students come to our school beginning their junior year due to the scheduling requirements necessary for graduation. Visit us at www.hcpolytech.org for more information. The Computer Science and Software Engineering Academy (CSSEA ) is a full time vocational high school that is housed at Delaware Valley Regional High School (DVRHS). Students enroll in academic courses offered through DVRHS, as well as computer science courses created by Project Lead The Way (PLTW), a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, as the lead curriculum provider. PLTW is the nation’s leading provider of K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs. Its Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSE) courses are designed to develop computational thinking and problem solving. Adult and Continuing Education is for individuals ages 16 and older to pursue a new interest, obtain valuable industry recognized credentials, enroll in an apprenticeship program or upgrade their present skills with the latest techniques. We also provide high quality technical and professional education services to area businesses, organizations and professional associations.
