What Is Hopper Communities?

Hopper Communities is a development company specializing in designing and creating residential neighborhoods. Bart Hopper, the company’s founder, has been developing commercial, retail, and residential real estate for over twenty-five years. A move with Lincoln Property Company brought him to Charlotte, where he was involved in the development of the 60-story, Bank of America Corporate Center, on Trade and Tryon in uptown. While at Lincoln Property Company, Bart branched into developing retail and residential real estate throughout the Carolinas. He realized the positive impact thriving neighborhoods have on their surrounding communities and chartered a path towards residential real estate development. Bart established Hopper Communities in 2007. He created a “family” sharing in his desire to develop vibrant innovative neighborhoods. Bart’s vision is applied to each project, as Hopper Communities strives to leave a positive imprint on communities and deliver lasting value to homeowners. Our goal is to improve lives. Since inception in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hopper Communities has expanded to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina and Austin, Texas.
