What Is Historic Royal Palaces?

Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland.\n\nOur Cause is to help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society, in some of the greatest palaces ever built.\n\nEach of the six palaces in our care has survived for hundreds of years. They have witnessed peace and prosperity and splendid periods of building and expansion, but they also share stories of more turbulent times, of war and domestic strife, politics and revolution.\n\nThe palaces are owned by The Queen on behalf of the nation. However, we raise all our own funds and depend on the support of our visitors, members, donors, sponsors and volunteers.\n\nWorking for us...\n\n‘Historic Royal Palaces is a great place to work, and we are committed to making it even better. We have an inspiring Cause and strategic direction, interesting and challenging roles and a unique working environment. We know that people are the key to our success, so we aim to recruit, retain, develop and motivate the very best. If you feel you are up to the challenge we would love to hear from you!’ \n\nGraham Josephs – HR Director
