Throughout the years, the business expanded as did the range of products it sold. With the belief that small independent wholesalers and retailers would fail unless they could compete with the growth of multiple retailing, the business took on the SPAR franchise in 1961, becoming the first group wholesaler in Northern Ireland. \r\n\r\nToday, the Group continues to reinvest into its independent retail partners’ business and its estate of company-owned stores, meaning more great stores for the retailer and the consumer and good news for the local economy as a whole. \r\n\r\nThe extent of Henderson's growth is clear to see.
