The Company, in its present form, was founded in 1963 but has family connections in the motor car maintenance business going back to the 1920's. One of the company's directors, Eric Healey, was a Rolls-Royce and Bentley enthusiast and it was not long before the Company started to build a reputation as specialist repairers for these marques. Eric rapidly built up an in-depth knowledge of the cars, in particular, the early post-war models and is now considered to be among the leading authorities for them. As time passed it became increasingly more difficult to obtain the spare parts and body panels that enabled specialist repairers to keep the cars on the road and support from "official sources" dwindled. Healey Brothers embarked on a programme of work to tool up and manufacture those parts vital to the maintenance of these fine motor cars. It was not long before we realised that there was duplication of effort amongst like-minded specialist repairers. This prompted Eric and another colleague to found the Rolls-Royce & Bentley Specialists Association whose objective was to co-ordinate the production of spares. Over the years the Association broadened its outlook and has now become the recognised trade organisation for the marques, setting high standards of workmanship and service. Healey Brothers offer a full range of services to both private owners and the trade. Service, maintenance, coachwork, interior trim, woodwork, painting and the like are all available from our in-house facilities. Our spares service is second to none and we carry large stocks of new, used and re-conditioned parts. We manufacture a wide range of replacement body panels for the standard post-war car from 1946 to the 1990's. In addition, we have the capability and skills to reproduce panelwork for the coachbuilt cars.
