What Is Hack In The North?

Hack In The North is the annual Hackathon organized at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. It is one of the largest student-organized hackathons in India. We have invited a legion of over 500 hackers over the past two years to collaborate, create and bring to life an idea, in 36 hours. Hack in the North started out as a dorm room idea back in 2016 by a few unorthodox driven students of IIIT Allahabad who wanted to move away from the realm of the normal academic routine and organise a hackathon to help expand the thinking of students and show that you don't always need a lifetime to make something extraordinary. Sometimes, you can do it in 36 hours too.
