HTI Plastics Revenue and Competitors

HTI Plastics, a mid-sized manufacturing firm located in Lincoln, Nebraska, was founded in 1985, by Dick Heinke. The company has always been privately held and was formed when Van Sickle Plastics and Plastics Technology combined and became one company known as Heinke Technology. In 1995, a Nebraska-based investment holding firm called Plastic Companies Enterprises (PCE) purchased HTI Plastics. PCE was founded in 1993 by Sam Featherston who has more than 30 years experience in the plastics industry. PCE currently holds three plastic related companies. These include Apex Plastics, a bottle blow molding company purchased in 1993, HTI Plastics, an injection molding company purchased in 1995, and Geist Manufacturing, a profile extrusion company purchased in 1997. PCE also holds controlling interest in several other associated businesses in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. HTI Plastics specializes in the production of a variety of custom and proprietary thermoplastic injection molded products. While pharmaceutical products have played a major role in the success of HTI, success has also come from a variety of proprietary products including: food packaging, animal health, fasteners, and a variety of custom injection molded products. In addition, we offer our new handy Towelette Pak that has recently been featured in Packaging Digest. At HTI Plastics our pharmaceutical products are assembled in a clean room environment following FDA and GMP approved processes. HTI Plastics is ISO9001:2000 registered and has achieved numerous quality awards from customers, including "Outstanding Supplier Award" six times from the Pharmacia Corporation. HTI is an engineering and customer driven company that continually develops automated processes to control costs and pass savings to their customers. HTI Plastics still specializes in the same great products and services that served as the backbone of the company from the beginning. With the new owners, the product line as well as the company and its staff have grown and expanded while continuing to focus strategically on long term growth. Within the facility, four injection molding machines have been added within the past two years and recent expansion efforts include the addition of 10,000 square feet of warehouse and inventory space and a second assembly clean area. HTI is prepared to grow with customers into the new millennium by continuing to offer superior customer service, partnership in design, quick turnaround times, and quality products.
