What Is HOSTE?
Hostē was founded in 2017 by Evan and Phil Wilburn, two brothers and veterans who began hosting their own homes through Airbnb in 2016. They quickly realized not only the financial potential, but also the need for folks who are passionate about short-term rentals and the philosophy of sharing and the sharing economy to help other people participate — as both hosts and guests. Friends quickly gravitated toward the hosting concept, saw Evan and Phil's enthusiasm, and were hooked. Will Burcher joined the team in 2017 also, bringing experience in visual storytelling as well as digital marketing to Evan and Phil's enterprise.
