HDA, Inc. is a privately held company founded in 1983 by Robert Ketterer and George Bearer, both experienced in commercial construction projects. Early in the company's history, the primary product was home plans. In 1997 the assets of National Plan Service, the industry's oldest distributor of publications to the home improvement channel, were acquired. As HDA's distribution demands grew, HDA Logistics Marketing Services, Inc., a distribution company, was acquired in 2000. Our products and services include: Books & Magazines - HDA currently distributes more than 350,000 books, magazines and CD's weekly and has the warehouse and distribution capacity to expand output to more than 1,000,000 units weekly. Publishing - HDA produces and publishes a variety of custom books and magazines. Our home plan books are published under the Design America and Dream Homes series. We also provide the content for The Family Handyman Home Plans magazine. Home Plans - HDA offers an alternative to the traditional home building experience with over 15,000 different construction-ready home plan blueprint sets that are sold directly to consumers and builders via our 1-800-DREAMHOME toll-free line and our www.houseplansandmore.com web site. Wall Murals - HDA has pioneered an easy-to-use, paint-by-number wall mural and patterns called Wallart.
