Hipotronics, Inc. is the world's leading full-line manufacturer of high voltage test equipment and measurement instrumentation. Hipotronics was founded in 1962 and is now part of Hubbell, Inc., an NYSE listed, diversified manufacturer of electrical products with over $300 million dollars in HV product sales each year. Unlike some suppliers who only assemble equipment, Hipotronics is vertically integrated and manufactures most of its own HV components, including transformers, capacitors, switches, output terminations, bushings, and metalwork. This allows superior quality and the shortest possible lead times on custom products. In addition, Hipotronics provides the highest level of technical assistance, both pre- and post-sale. We are conveniently located to the Port of New York for fast shipment to customers located outside of the United States. Each year, 50% of our sales are shipped outside of North America. Since our founding, we have supplied equipment to customers in more than 90 different countries. The Brewster, NY headquarters is located approximately 60 miles north of New York City. Three separate buildings provide for over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, along with a 60 foot high bay testing facility. The Brewster, NY facility serves as the platform for manufacture of large, custom resonant and impulse test systems in addition to manufacture of most HV components. In addition, engineering, marketing, sales, service, finance, and manufacturing administrative personnel are located at our Brewster, NY facility.
