ABOUT GREENFIELDS GreenFields of Geneva is a Life Plan Community, formerly known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation and skilled nursing. We first opened our doors in 2012, but were built on a strong foundation more than 40 years in the making as part of Friendship Senior Options. GreenFields is modeled on the high-quality of senior living and care pioneered by our sister community, Friendship Village. Located in Schaumburg, Friendship Village is the largest Life Plan Community in Illinois. Briarwood Healthcare at GreenFields has earned an impressive number of awards and accolades including: Briarwood has repeatedly earned the prestigious 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Briarwood and has repeatedly been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as among the best of America's nursing homes. Briarwood has earned CARF accreditation, a voluntary adherence to more than 1,200 rigorous quality standards. KEEP GROWING PROFESSIONALLY GreenFields considers its staff to be its most valuable resource and is dedicated to its continuous development. Friendship Senior Options dedication to consistent staff development has resulted in our third year of graduates of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy. All staff involved in direct care in assisted living in healthcare is becoming certified through dementia Care Specialists. This initiative ensures that the staff provides evidence-based memory care for the best possible outcomes for the residents. We are committed to staff retention, and have in fact have achieved success at rates superior to industry averages. We are dedicated to more effective interviewing relating to the individual position and responsibility. We arrange for candidates to meet with associates with whom theyll actually be working if they come on board. It helps to guarantee a better fit. We have ramped up the orientation to better prepare associates for the work theyll be doing.
