Grand Central is an open-access passenger train operator with a reputation for industry-leading customer satisfaction. We connect communities in the North East and Yorkshire with London. Grand Central is part of the Arriva group, an international transport company. \n\nGrand Central reaches the parts of the country other services don’t – directly linking towns and cities in Yorkshire and the North East with London. A new route from the North West to London will launch in 2020. \n\nGrand Central’s first route was launched in December 2007 and links London Kings Cross with York, Thirsk, Northallerton, Eaglescliffe, Hartlepool and Sunderland. In 2010, a second service began, calling at Bradford, Low Moor Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield, Wakefield, Pontefract, Doncaster and London Kings Cross. In 2020, Grand Central will launch a new route from Blackpool, calling at Poulton Le Fylde, Kirkham and Wesham, Preston, Nuneaton, Milton Keynes and London Euston. \n\nWe work hard to attract and retain customer-focussed staff for our trains and station and office-based roles .
