What Is Gramin Health Care?
Demographic divide in healthcare in India is such that although 660 million Indian population resides in the rural areas, more than 80% healthcare systems are available only in the urban areas. This has left the rural community in India bereft to accessible, affordable and quality healthcare. Gramin Healthcare is India's first institutionalized primary healthcare company, that works exclusively towards providing and strengthening primary healthcare services to the last mile of Rural India. Our mission is to create an innovative business model in healthcare that addresses these challenges with an “Assisted Telemedicine Solution†and bridge the gaps in Indian healthcare space in a holistic, self-sustainable and scalable manner. With institutionalised primary and preventive healthcare being our pillar, we attack questions of availability, affordability and accessibility in a unique multipronged approach of Hub and Spoke walk-in-health centres. Our hub, also known as Polyclinic, cater to specialized healthcare needs of the rural population complemented by primary health centres. These Polyclinics have specialized doctors and services including Consultation, Gynaecology, Day Care, Ayurveda, Pharmacy and Diagnostic services. Provide access of healthcare to the rural and underserved communities at a cost, they can afford, at a distance, they can travel, with a dignity that they deserve Gramin Health Care along with its partners IFFCO, Dabur, Novartis, Medtronic, Oyo, Dr.Reddy's, Cygnus Hospitals, among others aim to ensure healthcare utilization behaviour through an ecosystem approach with a focus to work towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
