Goodrich Petroleum Corporation is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, exploitation, development and production of oil and natural gas properties primarily in the transition zone of south Louisiana and in north Louisiana, the Gulf Coast of Texas and East Texas. The Company owns working interests in 99 active oil and gas wells located in 20 fields in four states. Goodrich also has interests in two offshore exploration permits in the Carnarvon Basin of Western Australia. As of December 31, 2002, Goodrich had estimated proved reserves of approximately 7.4 million barrels of oil and condensate and 29.1 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas, or an aggregate of 73.7 Bcf equivalent (Bcfe).
