Global Geophysical Services, Inc. (Global) provides land, transition zone and shallow marine seismic data acquisition, seismic data library, and seismic data processing services both in the United States and internationally. The Company’s services enable its clients to locate potential reservoirs of oil and gas and to gain an understanding of known reservoirs. Since launching its first seismic data acquisition crew in May 2005, Global has launched an additional 13 seismic crews. Substantially all of the Company's revenue is derived from the seismic data acquisition and data processing services it provides to its clients, who are primarily national oil companies, integrated oil and gas companies, independent oil and gas exploration and production companies, and seismic data library companies. In June 2008, it entered the seismic processing market by acquiring all the business and assets of Weinman GeoScience, Inc., a seismic processing and interpretation business in Dallas, Texas.
