Geospatial Information and Technology Association Revenue and Competitors

The Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) is a nonprofit educational association serving the global geospatial community. Our vision is to be the leading information resource and community for anyone who has a vested interest in the use of geospatial information. GITA's mission is to provide geospatial solutions in education, information exchange, and applied research on the use and benefits of geospatial information and technology for worldwide infrastructure. GITA serves infrastructure-based organizations that can benefit from the application of geospatial information technologies. We define infrastructure as all fundamental services, activities, and operations that sustain our communities and way of life. GITA furthers our mission and vision through numerous ways. Currently we have over 23 chapters across the United States and Canada. We also host an annual Geospatial Infrastructure Solutions Conference. Additionally, GITA supports students by providing professional experience in the dynamic Geospatial Information and Intelligence field through internships and scholarships funded by the GITA Foundation.
