Ware Elementary educates approximately 650 students per year in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students reside in the McClellan, Meade, Burnside Loops and Warner Heights areas on Ft. Riley and in the Grant Avenue area of Junction City. Due to the Army transition, we see an annual turnover of about 40% of our total student population. Ware Elementary is staffed with approximately 100-115 certified staff members per year. We are also the home of a Language Learning Disabilities Program (LLD) and an English Learners Program (ELL). An inclusive special education program is also part of the Ware educational setting.
