What Is GS Sales?

We sell plastic stock shapes, fabricated parts, and welding equipment from some of the world’s best manufacturers of plastic materials. GS Sales was started on January 1st of 1991, shortly after George Southard and his family returned to the Midwest from Pittsburgh where he had been Vice President of Sales for Solidur Plastics from 1985 until January 1991. He started GS Sales with Solidur’s support until they were bought out by a competitor. Prior to working for Solidur, George started his career with Poly Hi in 1979 and also spent time at Artek, Inc. GS Sales is fortunate to have developed long term relationships with many distributors & manufacturers. These relationships have enabled us to have a vast amount of experience with many types of applications and products. It is our goal to increase end-user knowledge of these capabilities of the products and product markets that we represent. We try to accomplish this through sales calls, product training seminars, and every type of media possible to support these efforts. George Southard handles all the sales and customer service. His wife, Connie, handles the administrative duties of the business and Christine Rasche is responsible for GS Sales marketing out-call program, which is designed to help specify products and create leads for our distributors.
