GEM Buildings was founded in 1985 to fill a void in the building industry and since that time GEM has designed, fabricated and packaged a wide variety of projects, including single projects in excess of 2 million square feet. We provide custom solutions designed for our clients' specific building needs. Our integrated DESIGN/BUILD process includes and involves the client through all stages of a project, from inception through fabrication and erection of the building. GEM is unique because we are not locked into specific predetermined solutions for our clients. Our "Build Different" philosophy allows us complete leeway to design and build what is best for the client because we do not have an inventory to design around. GEM is a DESIGN/BUILD manufacturer that can blend conventional structural materials, tapered rigid frames, cold form members and a variety of other materials to produce a unique engineered package that is specifically suited for the project requirements. We provide structural steel buildings, pre-engineered metal buildings, and Division 5 packages with a proprietary approach that provides the client with maximum design flexibility, substantial time savings, and projects that are on budget. Whenever possible, we take a "Value Engineering" approach to projects to ensure the client's overall needs are met with the right solution, and to provide the highest value for the dollars spent.
