Building Better People, Every Day The mission of Franklin Academy is to create life-long learners by developing critical thinking skills and promoting high levels of academic achievement in students, while meeting the benchmarks of a standards-based curriculum utilizing varied research-based instructional strategies, technologies, and media, with an emphasis on character development. The Florida Charter Foundation is a non-profit educational organization that operates the eight (8) Franklin Academy charter schools on six (6) campuses across Broward and Palm Beach counties. The inspiration for our organization is Ben Franklin, a founding father who personified the pursuit of excellence, discovery and creativity. We are currently providing an outstanding and unique educational experience to over 8,000 South Florida students.
