Foster Assessment Center & Testing Service, Inc. (FACTS) is committed to enhancing the quality of life and independence of individuals in the local communities that we service through the provision and delivery of vocational evaluation services. The goal of our company is to provide the finest professional vocational evaluation and career guidance services for individuals in career transition or in need of vocational direction. Through the contribution of highly skilled staff, the vocational evaluation will identify individuals' vocational strengths and weaknesses and partner with them to establish strategies and steps leading to gainful employment. Founded in 1984, Foster Assessment Center & Testing Service, Inc., (FACTS) has since grown to be the largest vocational evaluation and assessment provider for both the private sector and for the California State Department of Rehabilitation. Assessments range from one day to ten days and focus not only on basic skills but also determine learning style, physical tolerances, aptitudes, skills, worker traits, as well as ability to return to work. FACTS assessors are highly experienced in serving individuals with learning disabilities or physical handicaps. For over 30 years, FACTS' assessors have provided assessment services for welfare recipients through the CalWORKs/GAIN program. To date, FACTS has conducted over 150,000 vocational and career assessments and learning disability evaluations for CalWORKs in Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura Counties. FACTS' assessors have also conducted thousands of vocational and career assessments for At-Risk Youth and for individuals on General Relief for social services agencies throughout Southern California. FACTS has grown to provide assessment services to over 75 cities throughout California through our seven CARF accredited assessment centers. To date, FACTS has provided assessment services for over 250,000 individuals.
