Foodbank Victoria is an independent not for profit organisation that aims to deliver nutritious, healthy food to individuals and families experiencing hardship. With more than 80 years experience, Foodbank Victoria, is the state's oldest and largest food relief organisation. It sources and distributes donated food and provides emergency relief to Victorians through a network of more than 500 community organisations, including welfare agencies, schools and local resource centres. During the 2014-15 financial year, Foodbank Victoria distributed over 17 million meals across metro, regional and rural communities of Victoria.
