Born and raised in Mobile, AL, Cindy Hilyer began her 36-year career in construction/flooring, 22 of which have been running her own company, Floor Depot, Inc. She began her career working alongside her father at his construction company which provided her with all the necessary knowledge and expertise in interior remodeling. This experience helped Cindy to open her own flooring company in 1998. Wanting to keep Floor Depot a family business, Cindy’s son, Austin Hilyer, began developing his craftsmanship at an early age. Currently, he is the Operations Manager, which runs the installation crews and ensures the quality of work.
