What Is Fitzroy Legal Service?

Fitzroy Legal Service (FLS) is one of the oldest community legal centres in Australia, opening in 1972. FLS provides legal advice and casework services and plays a significant role in the areas of law reform and community legal education. FLS has a long history of running public interest cases - the experiences from the casework practice inform the law reform and community legal education activities of the organisation. FLS provides free legal advice of an evening. This is a drop-in service, no appointments necessary. Interpreting services can be arranged if necessary. We do not provide any legal advice by phone or email. Opening Times for Night Service - Monday - Friday, 6:30pm - 8:00pm at 124 Johnston St, Fitzroy.
