What Is First Coast No More Homeless Pets?

The mission of First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) is to eliminate the killing of dogs and cats in shelters in our community, Northeast Florida and the nation. We use a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to combat overpopulation. Our combination of aggressive spay/neuter efforts, adoption initiatives and pet retention programs has resulted in significant improvements for animals. The euthanasia rate in Jacksonville has decreased by an astounding 90% since our inception in 2002. Reducing euthanasia saves valuable taxpayer dollars and improves the quality of life for all residents in our community. FCNMHP is the only organization in Northeast Florida providing comprehensive services designed to reduce overpopulation. We believe that the death of even one healthy pet is a prompt call for action.
