Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. is a holding entity that conducts no operations and has two subsidiaries, Ferrellgas Partners Finance Corp. and Ferrellgas, L.P. (the operating partnership). Ferrellgas Partners owns a 100% equity interest in Ferrellgas Partners Finance Corp. No operations are conducted by or through Ferrellgas Partners Finance, whose only purpose is to act as the co-issuer and co-obligor of any debt issued by the Company. The operating partnership is the only operating subsidiary of the Company. It is engaged primarily in the retail distribution of propane and related equipment and supplies in the United States. As of July 31, 2003, it had 593 retail outlets, serving more than one million residential, industrial/commercial and agricultural and other customers in 45 states.
