Fastbolt Corp. was founded in 1974 by Albert Zaukas. His vision was to build a company dedicated to its customers in supplying quality fasteners on time, every time. Setting up shop in Manhattan's SoHo district at 500 Broadway, this vision became a reality. His "roll up your sleeves and get to work" attitude was, and still is, Fastbolt's standard operating procedure. These principles, appreciated by his employees and customer base, created the need for immediate expansion and the additional warehousing capacity. With that, in 1978 Fastbolt relocated across the Hudson River to northern New Jersey. The 48,000 square foot complex the company grew to inhabit still serves as Fastbolt's corporate headquarters. As customer manufacturing locations shifted globally, and the need for local warehousing and supply became more apparent, Fastbolt quickly responded to these needs. Today Fastbolt has Logistic Centers in Montreal, Quebec; Raleigh, North Carolina; Piedmont, South Carolina; Tamarac, Florida; and Fort Worth, Texas, along with sales offices all over the world. Through dedication to both its customers and employees, Fastbolt has evolved into a global Supply Chain Management company meeting the needs of a sophisticated and diversified customer base. In providing services such as global sourcing, planning, implementation and management of Inventory Management Programs and true supply chain integration, Fastbolt has continued to be a leader in the industry. All three of Mr. Zaukas' sons work at Fastbolt and have been actively involved in working toward the continued progressive development, direction, and growth of Fastbolt.
