THE MISSION Family and Community Resources, Inc. (FCR) is dedicated to serving individuals and families whose lives are impacted by trauma at home, school or in their community. FCR is committed to providing the highest quality of services including advocacy, support, individual and group treatment, case management and community education and training. Victims have the right to receive these services free of any bias with regard to age, gender, race, income, religion, sexual orientation, national origin or physical or mental challenges. All FCR services are provided within a setting that preserves their safety, confidentiality and dignity and that empower them to move toward personal growth, health and happiness. Family and Community Resources, Inc; • Delivers innovative, leading programs for the prevention and intervention in family violence cases; • Oversees safe, structured and supportive child visitation programs; • Offers supportive and educational parenting groups and resources; • Develops programs and protocols that make a real difference in the lives of women and children who are victims of domestic violence; • Provides individual and group mental health counseling for adults and children; • Offers legal advocacy, support and case management for individuals and children whose lives are impacted by violence at home, school or in their community; • Works with local human services coalitions to educate adults and children about living lives that are safe, sober and self-determined; • Gives men, women and children hope for a brighter, safer and happier future; • Shows children and adults their community cares about them and their futures; • Supports adults and children at having a second chance at life.
