Serving all of DeKalb County, Il Family Service Agency provides four important programs. Big Brothers/Big Sisters: offers a mentoring program that will match one child and one adult, paving the way for magical moments with life-changing impacts. Child Advocacy Center: provides multidisciplinary teams of professionals to serve children who have been abused, These are adults who recognize the hurt of abuse and have dedicated themselves to providing help and protection without causing further suffering. The goal is for every child to experience the sweetness and innocence of childhood without pain, abuse, and emotional trauma. Center for Counseling: Counseling professionals engage in a team effort with their clients to gain relief from issues troubling the client, create meaningful change and work toward personal growth. Senior Center: provides health and wellness promotion, education programs, social/recreational activities and mentoring at locations through out the county.
