Family Giving Tree Revenue and Competitors

For 30 years, the Bay Area's Family Giving Tree has been delivering joy to those most in need. What started as a San Jose State MBA project to help in-need children has grown steadily into an established, widely respected, nonprofit organization. Since its start in 1990, Family Giving Tree has served over 1,500,000 children and adults throughout the greater Bay Area. We dream of inspiring the values of kindness, philanthropy and volunteerism throughout our community. With the invaluable support of our donors, sponsors, volunteers and drive leaders, Family Giving Tree leads two major drives each year. Holiday Wish Drive fulfills children's exact holiday gift wishes, and Back-to-School Drive provides backpacks filled with school supplies to local K-12 children most in need. 2017 saw the successful delivery of over 40,000 backpacks and 80,000 holiday gifts. In addition, over 8,000 volunteers worked with us in our donated warehouse space to make it all happen.
