Fairfax State Savings Bank has been located on Vanderbilt Street in Fairfax, Iowa, since being chartered in 1924. In 90+ years, there have been only two CEO's of Fairfax State Savings Bank, John L. Krall and the current CEO, David C. Neuhaus. The original building that housed the bank was built in 1900. A new building was built in 1964 and renovated in 1998. This modernization brought cutting edge technology to the customers of Fairfax State Savings Bank. With the addition of our Amana branch, Bankhaus, in 2016, the bank continues to grow in the Corridor. In an era of mergers and acquisitions, Fairfax State Savings Bank has been able to remain Fairfax State Savings Bank, while maintaining a stable financial environment.
