Experience Mission (EM) is a non-profit organization that believes our job as Christians is to be people of hope in the midst of hopelessness. We seek to live out this message of hope by partnering with and empowering local communities around the world, developing leaders, and mobilizing volunteers to experience the powerful change taking place through these partnerships. These are our 3 FOCUSES. They fit intricately together to form the foundation of EM’s larger overall mission: spreading the love of Christ to a world in need. VOLUNTEER MOBILIZATION Connecting people together from diverse cultures and backgrounds through acts of service. We accomplish this through our Cross-Culutral Internship (apply now for Summer 2014: www.experiencemission.org/internships) and IMMERSION, 3 & 6-Month Cross-Cultural Missions Programs in Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean (apply for 2014 programs now: www.experiencemission.org/immersion). COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT Assisting those that live in under-developed communities with resources and support to reach their communities and extend out to the world. We accomplish this through empowerment initiatives like Education Scholarships (www.experiencemission.org/education) and Micro-Loans (www.experiencemission.org/micro-loans).
