What Is Enterprise Solutions Technology Group?

Enterprise Solutions is an Information Technology Consulting firm nationally certified as a woman owned business enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The company was founded in 1996 with a core group of consultants from large corporations who had the desire to create a better way of delivering cost effective services without compromising quality. The staff represents a wide range of talent and expertise with an average experience level of 15 years. Our client base is a mixture of private and public sector business that has been largely built upon relationships and referrals. Customer satisfaction is high--our clients are primarily repeat customers that have been with us for several years. New customers are generally referred by partnerships that we have developed through business organizations that we have participated in over the years. The company philosophy is predicated upon giving back to the community, which has driven us to develop and collaborate with organizations that benefit underserved community members. The EmployAbility Project was developed by President, BJ Pfeiffer as a way to continue the work of a grant program she participated in to help people with disabilities enter the IT workforce. It is directed by a consortium of business leaders, educators and government employees and has expanded to include students and veterans in transition to work. Through internships, training and support, many individuals have found permanent employment. Seeking to support women engaged in technology, Ms Pfeiffer collaborated with friends Karen Rahmeier and Emily Jones to form CodeChix Madison. Founded in San Francisco, CodeChix was created to educated, advocate for and mentor female software engineers. Technical talks, hands-on workshops, and hack sessions are offered to graduates entering the industry, women returning to the industry after a break and those who strive to stay current and network with their peers.
