What Is Emergency Veterinary Care Centers?

This past year was an incredible one! With the opening of our 3rd location and our sights set on continued expansion and growth, we realized our name needed to evolve to better align with our goals.\n\nEmergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC), formerly North Central Veterinary Emergency Center, represents our vision to grow and support underserved communities who don’t have easily accessible emergency veterinary care.\n\nOur 24-hour animal hospitals are open 365 days a year, providing emergency services to the pets of Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan, and Eastern Illinois. Our 3 current locations in Highland, IN, Westville, IN and Mishawaka, IN are determined to provide high quality emergency veterinary care to the communities that need it most. Our hospitals focus solely on emergency medicine providing services like urgent & emergency surgery, onsite diagnostics, 24/7 hospitalization, and advanced imaging like ultrasound.\n\nWe believe the best way to continually improve our practices is to invest in the individuals who commit their time and energy every day into making us who we are. For us, professional development begins with our Student Experiences program. Summer apprenticeships are available for pre-vet, veterinary, and veterinary technician students. Upper-division students have the option to represent NCVEC as on-campus ambassadors, or to apply for externship opportunities. After graduation, we offer mentorship options and extensive training programs for our new team members. Our continuing education programs carry on throughout the full career life-cycle, and are growing year over year. We also offer leadership opportunities, and provide our team members the tools they need to be successful in those roles. \n\n\nFor information on available career opportunities, please visit our career page at https://evcc.com/jobs/
