What Is Electronic Systems Protection?

ESP was originally established when micro-processor technology was first introduced to control photo copier machines in the early 1980s. Founders Kim Alfreds and Tom Weickardt discovered that Micro-processor based photo copiers could not meet their design copies between calls (CBC) and clean power was required for these technologically sophisticated products to function properly. Office equipment dealers and manufacturers, in turn, needed a cost effective solution to reduce ground noise and provide clean power. Electronic Systems Protection was created to deliver that solution. Today, ESP has become the leading manufacturer of power protection technology for the office technology industry. For over 15 years, Electronic Systems Protection (ESP) has manufactured patented power filtration and power protection technology and is the choice for power protection by many of the world's premier electronic equipment manufacturers and organizations. With a manufacturing facility in Zebulon, NC and an international sales team, our company has expanded to include the Kiosk, ATM, & Mailing industries, as well as the Canadian, European, and Latin American markets.
