What Is ETM Electromatic Incorporated?

Founded in 1973, ETM Electromatic Inc. has over three decades of experience in High Power Microwave and High Voltage. ETM established itself early as the pre-eminent manufacturer of microwave tube test equipment for tube manufacturers around the world. Of the nearly 1000 test sets ETM has shipped over the years, most are still in use at facilities around the globe including CPI, Teledyne, Hughes, Northrop, NEC in Japan, Elta in Israel, Alelco in Italy, and Itri-ERSO in Taiwan, as well as at U.S. and European defense department repair depots. Based on the proven technical expertise in producing these linear high voltage, high current power supplies, ETM began developing tailored high-powered transmitters that combined our innovative power supply design with third party Klystrons and TWTs. With the introduction of our modular switch-mode power supply design in 1992, ETM was able to dramatically reduce the size and weight of our transmitters, while significantly improving serviceability and maintainability in the field. Built to withstand extreme environmental conditions and designed with a modular power supply to allow for in-the-field maintenance, these amplifiers provided the perfect solution to the rugged environment of the mobile military and commercial SatCom markets. ETM continues to be a world leader in high voltage linear and switch-mode power supply technology, and with over 4,000 high power microwave amplifiers in the field, ETM has become a leading supplier for SatCom, EW, Radar, Susceptibility Testing, Industrial and Medical applications. Today, ETM offers a wide range of commercial off the shelf products as well as a robust Engineering and Program Management capability to provide our Clients with tailored subsystems solutions. ETM invests heavily each year in research and development and is continually expanding our technical capability into other markets and technologies.
