What Is Durbin and Company?

Durbin & Company, LLP was founded in 1981 and is a registered public accounting firm in Texas. Our firm is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA. Due to various state laws and regulations, we do not offer attest functions outside the state of Texas. Durbin & Company, LLP provides audit services for over thirty hospitals and health care providers throughout the State of Texas. These audit engagements include not-for-profit entities, hospital districts, hospital authorities, and component units of city / county governments. Our concentration in the niche market of health care providers enables us to streamline our audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, and to structure our engagements to efficiently complete these engagements in a timely manner. Our audit approach goes far beyond just beating on the numbers. We strive to obtain an understanding of the hospital’s operations and internal controls to provide management with feedback regarding process improvement areas as well as future reimbursement considerations.
